If you've just moved to Australia, you may be unfamiliar with the rubbish sorting system. This is the way of life in Australia. We care about taking care of the environment and it is not acceptable to not sort your rubbish into the correct bins, nor is it acceptable to leave goods out on the footpath. That's why we have create this section, to help you out!

Most of our properties are under the regulation of the Waverley Council who regulate the areas selected on the linked map
Please take a minute and read all these instructions below carefully so you will be able to sort your waste and recycling out properly.

Collection days and bins

The council collects waste weekly from households in Waverley as well as garden waste, plastic, glass, paper and cardboard items fortnightly for recycling.

Illegal dumping

It is illegal to leave waste on public land such as streets, laneways, parks, footpaths, car parks or waterways. Illegal dumping and littering can incur a fine of up to $1500 (charged by the council).
